Shriram Properties, a well-known and respected brand in South India, commenced operations in Bengaluru in 2000 and has since expanded its presence to other cities in South India, namely Chennai, Coimbatore, and Visakhapatnam. History
- In 2000, started operations in Bengaluru and completed our first residential project, “Shriram Shriranjani,” in September 2000.
- Completed first residential project in Coimbatore, “Vijaya Hyde Park”, in May 2011.
- Completed first residential project in Vizag, “Panorama Hills – Block IV,” in September 2016.
- Completed the residential project in Chennai, “Shriram Temple Bells – Phase 1 & 2”, and first commercial project, “Shriram Gateway”, in Chennai.
- Entered plotted development under the aegis of “Shriram Earth”. The first plotted development project under the DM model was launched. Shriram Earth Mysore Road, located off Mysore Road, Bengaluru, spans 20 acres.
- By 2024, handed over ~3,000 units/plots, a new record.

About Founder
The managing director and chairman of Shriram Properties is Murali Malayappan. From a $500,000 firm when he took over the company in 1997, it has grown to be a multimillion-dollar enterprise with around $4 billion in revenue in India. Companies like Walton Street Capital, Starwood Capital Group, and TPG Capital have invested largely thanks to Malayappan.
